Receipts for money paid by Southall in connection with establishment and building of the state foundry at Westham on James River above Richmond. Included are accounts for Westham canal and for a brewery at Westham. Accounts concern building materials, the use of hired slave labor and expenses for re-capturing runaway slaves.
