Flynn, Michele
The Artemis Sisters Collective was a local Morgantown, West Virginia feminist collective formed in September 1982 for the purpose of promoting women's empowerment through creative, political, and social engagement. The bulk of materials range in dates from 1980 to 1987 and include information regarding the SisterSpace Collective, various women's defense committees, musical acts, and social activism. Materials include posters, pamphlets, correspondence, cassette tapes, meeting minutes, flyers, press releases, photographs and t-shirts.

The papers in this collection are related to her time with WVNOW and MNOW between 1977 and 1989 and include a framed poster signed by popular figures in the feminist movement of the 1970s.

It includes newspaper clippings, papers, and other materials from various coal mining operations, as well as various materials from the Coal Employment Project and the United Mine Workers of America union. Other materials include papers on employment equality, newsletters from the Coal Mining Women's Support Team News, and newspapers on coal mining strikes from the late 1980s to early 1990s. Also included in the collection are stickers and pins relating to coal mining and various coal mining conferences throughout the country.

Regina Charon (1946-2004) was a civil rights lawyer who is best known for her work in unemployment law, sex discrimination law, and LGBT adoption law. The collection includes biographies about Regina Charon's life and life's work as a lawyer, focusing on civil rights. Topics include the 1977-1978 WVU Council for Women's Concerns, the Regina Charon Zealous Advocate Award, and the Regina Charon Fellowship for Law and the Public Interest. There are photocopies of the Jus Et Factum newsletter and photographs of Regina Charon's life from childhood through adulthood.
