Abstract Or Scope

Tailor's account book kept by Anah Clark between 1825 and the 1850s. The origin of this work is thought to be Middlon Springs, Vermont. However, some of the entries list the place name Middletown. It provides detailed documentation of daily transactions with customers. Each page lists an individual customer and details the prices charged for making various articles of clothing. Methods of payment for the clothing are also listed and include exchange of goods, as well as cash payments.
