Langston Hughes Middle School (Reston, Va.)
The Reston Reflections are a collection of interviews done by the students at Langston Hughes Middle School. The students conducted interviews with residents of Reston to create an oral history of Reston. The project spans several years beginning in 1994 with the final interviews in 2009. Among those interviewed are some of Reston more prominent citizens such as Robert E. Simon, the founder of Reston, and Martha Pennino. The collection is divided into four series, the first contains the transcripts of the interviews, the second series is audiotapes from the interviews, the third is the interviews from 1996 that were originally separated from the majority of the collection and the fourth are the interviews from 2001, 2003 and 2009 that were also separated. The collection is large and contained within 128 boxes.

The collection contains film and audio reels pertaining to civil rights and other activities in the 1960s and 1970s in Richmond, Virginia, and surrounding states. These include the H. Rap Brown trial, Lincoln Memorial Peace March, the Martin Luther King memorial at the Virginia State Capitol, Anti-Bussing protests, the Poor People's Campaign, student protest marches, surveillance of the Black Panthers, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), the National Socialist White People's Party, and illegal abortion providers. There are also reels of police training videos, retirement parties, and the 1969 flood. In addition to the film and audio reels, there are also photographs of many of the events recorded on film reels, as well as Personal Information Cards.

The papers document Wilkins' career while he was a professor at George Mason University. The documents include correspondence, publications, and speeches. There are also 14 videotape cassettes with lectures by other Robinson professors and media appearances by Wilkins.

For his Ph.D. in Public Policy, Ron Fraser wrote a dissertation on the reauthorization of the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act (ISTEA) of 1991. The materials in this collection come from his dissertation research and include 44 microcassette audiotapes, transcriptions, and 5.25" floppy disks of interviews with upper-level transportation officials.

Contains materials pertaining to Bosnian musician Victoria Jordanova's career as a classical composer, pianist, and harpist. Materials include a compact disc recording of Jordanova's celebrated Requiem for Bosnia and other works; industry reviews of her Requiem; promotional pamphlets; notes on Jordanova's musical training; correspondence between Jordanova and music teacher/composer Sam di Bonaventura; and newsclippings on the conflict in Bosnia-Herzegovina, including articles on the Pope calling for reconciliation and tolerance between Muslims, Roman Catholic Croats, and Orthodox Christian Serbs.
