The papers of Harry Caskie Stinnett, William and Mary class of 1932, include a variety of different materials. Included are two literary manuscripts of Stinnett's books, "Back to Abnormal" and "Out of the Red." Each manuscript contains handwritten edits. Additions to the collection include a multitude of magazine manuscripts. Many of the manuscripts detail Stinnett's adventures abroad. Other items include a scrapbook filled of newspaper and magazine clippings, photographs, book reviews, and Stinnett's baptismal and confirmation certificates.

This collection features a single screenplay for an unproduced film based on John H.N. Hemingway's memories of his parents Ernest and Hadley Hemingway. The script was written in 1984 by Denne Petitclerc (1929-2006), a journalist, screenwriter, and friend of Ernest Hemingway. "In Our Time" is based on the primary source material and recollections of John H.N. Hemingway and Petitclerc described in the first three pages of the script titled " A Note on the Sources of this Screenplay." The screenplay focuses on the time surrounding Ernest Hemingway's first short story collection, published in 1924 and 1925, titled "In Our Time." The front cover notes the work as a 'The Producers Group' production and the address of the firm is present on the title page and consists of 119 single-sided pages.

The Jan Karon papers (66 cubic feet; 1918-2018) contain Mitford book typescripts and galleys; materials related to Ms. Karon's publishing career and her relationship with her agent and publisher; letters and fan mail from readers, arranged by month and year only; memorabilia; professional and personal correspondence; reviews and press publicity; research related to Karon's novels; files related to charitable organizations and boards; architectural drawings of Esmont Farm; files and journals related to the purchase, restoration, and running of historic Esmont Farm, Albemarle County, Virginia, by Karon; personal and family papers; files pertaining to Jan Karon's advertising career, particularly the North Carolina tourism campaign for McKinney and Silver; photographs; artifacts; audiovisual material; and born-digital material, including disks and hard drives.

The Paul Hendrickson papers contain manuscripts, correspondence, research files, book jackets and audio-visual materials documenting the the written works of journalist and author Paul Hendrickson. Materials include manuscripts and research files coveringPDF copy and JPG image of cover of "Reflections from the students of Paul Hendrickson," a collection of remembrances by Professor Hendrickson's students in English 145/155/156/160 – 301 from his career at University of Pennsylvania's English Department.

The Tom Baker papers consist primarily of drafts, working copies, manuscripts, and published copies of the author and William & Mary alumnus Tom Baker's published literary works. The written works represented are The Sound of One Horse Dancing (2011), Full Frontal (2012), Paperwhite Narcissus (2014), Green (2017), and various short stories. Also included are some pieces of correspondence to and from Baker regarding the status of his work, as well as working files of research material for the settings of the novels Green and Paperwhite NarcissusThe materials provide insight into the professional literary career and creative process of Baker as he wrote novels that incorporated the use of historical settings as well as the perspective of a gay man in the United States in the mid and late 20th century.

The collection consists of the literary manuscripts for all of Robbins' novels and a few of his other works. It includes handwritten drafts, typed versions of drafts, and galley proofs. There is a small collection of correspondence to Robbins from his fans, dating 1997 through 2006; some correspondence from Robbins from 2006; and journal and newspaper articles written by or about Robbins from various Seattle publications and others, dating 1967-1978.
