Activities included among others concerts, annual dances and receptions and 4th of July celebrations. Recorded are names of members, officers, and the death of members is mentioned in some of the resolutions.

Minutebook, 1877-1879 of the Bachelor Club of Middletown, Pa., also including constitution, by-laws, rules and regulations. The constitution states that the object of the club "shall be to have a room or suit of rooms to be open at all times, Sunday excepted, and furnished with books and newspapers of the day, also for the discussion of all questions, except those of a political and religious character, and for the social enjoyment of the members." 67 of the 426 pages are filled in.

Minute book of the Brotherhood of Local Firemen (U.S.). Lodge # 203 (Gary, Ind.) for the years 1884-1889. The following description was provided by the seller:"This 8 1/2" x 12 1/2" ledger ... represents the start of the Brotherhood of Local Fireman from Garrett, Indiana, March 8, 1884. ... The first page has an embossed circle with a locomotive centered and edge writings which read "Garfield Lodge No. 203 B. of L.F., Garrett, Ind.". Inside the circle is embossed "Organized March 8, 1884". The front cover is missing and the back cover is loose. The first two pages are loose and soiled and starting to turn brittle. An inside section (12 pages connected) which was bound with string is loose. On the first written page at the heading is "Minnet Book" and below this are the minutes from the first meeting when organized by one S.M. Stevens G.Q.& I. from Terre Haute, Ind. and also dated March 8, 1884. These first two pages also have corner damage as well as the next three. After that the remaining 180 pages are in good condition with soiling on some corners. There are no missing pages and the minutes (once a month) read from 1884 through Feb. 1st, 1889. "

Minute book, 1891-1921, of the Central New Hampshire Congregational Club. Meetings were held three times per year at different Congregational Churches throughout New Hampshire, including in Concord, Manchester, and Nashua, and consisted of a social hour, business meeting, dinner, musical entertainment, and a keynote lecture. Keynote speakers include Dartmouth College presidents S.C. Bartlett and W.J. Tucker, University of Vermont president M.H. Buckham, Christian Endeavor Society president F.E. Clark, New Hampshire U.S. Senator T.W. Patterson, and New Hampshire governors H.A. Tuttle and J.B. Smith. There are summaries of their speeches as abstracted by the Club's secretary, N.F. Carter.
