Abstract Or Scope

This record contains a bond given by Willis Green to Charles Lewis for 10,000 pounds upon Green's assuming the duties of deputy register for the Kentucky District. Baker Ewing, Christopher Greenup, Harry Innes, and John Logan acted as securities for the bond. The document was sealed and delivered in the presence of John Reed, and dated 16 March 1792.

Abstract Or Scope

These records contain lists of judgements on caveats passed down by the Supreme Court for the district of Kentucky during the March, June, and September terms in 1785, and the March, June, and November terms of 1786. The lists vary in format, but they all contain in either column or paragraph form the names of the disputing parties, the number of acres under dispute, the county in which the land was located, and the judgment rendered in each instance.
