This collection contains fact sheets about the Parents Day/Weekend events at The College of William and Mary. First held in May 1966, the purpose of Parents Day is to give the parents a chance to observe the college and its facilities, to meet the faculty and administration, and to generally become acquainted with the college's program and objectives.

Booklets and newsletters, 1974-1977, relating to the Weather Underground Organization as well as a 1978 interview with Bunny Raymond, the mother of a member of the Weather Underground (audiocassette). This collection includes material related to the resignation of President Gene R. Nichol of the College of William and Mary on February 12, 2008, and the response of the campus, alumni, and public. Material in the collection was created by a variety of formal and informal organizations and individuals and includes correspondence, fliers, videos, images, websites, news clippings, armbands, stickers, and a variety of other formats. Much of the collection is material produced in response to President Nichol announcing his resignation with a smaller amount of material from the months preceding the announcement. The collection includes material from individuals and organizations who were opposed to President Nichol as well as those who supported him. This collection does not include official College of William and Mary records produced by various offices. Those records will generally be housed with the collections for the creating office or department. Exceptions include communications from the Board of Visitors to the campus community.

This collection contains fliers and newsletters describing the Presidential Scholars Program at The College of William and Mary. The Presidential Scholars Program is co-ordinated by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, who designates Presidential Scholars from among the top applicants to the College on the advice of the Faculty's Committee on Honors and Experimental Programs.
