Correspondence, diaries, and papers of Thompson Hoadley Landon (1830-1917) and his son Thomas Durland Landon (1865-1934). Several of the papers and correspondence relate to the Bordentown Military Institute of Bordentown, New Jersey of which both Thompson and Thomas were part of the senior administration for several years.

The Maury family papers contains materials documenting the lives of the Maury Family of Virginia, New York City and Liverpool, England from 1777-1977. The collection includes the letters and business papers of James Maury (1746-1840), the first American consul to Liverpool, England, and the letters of his second wife, Margaret Rutson Maury (1805-1882), of Liverpool. Letters, business papers, legal papers, and diaries of the next two generations of the Maury family, including Ann Maury (1832-1890) of Liverpool and New York, Rutson Maury (1805-1882) of Liverpool and New York, and oceanographer Matthew Fontaine Maury (1806-1873) are also included. The collection also contains genealogical material, photographs and cookbooks. Subjects covered include tobacco and cotton trade, general discussions about the Civil War from both the American and British perspective, travel, and gender studies.

Genealogy material compiled by Mr. William S. Morton and his wife, Mrs. Margaret H. Morton of Farmville, Virginia which trace the descendants of Joseph Morton of Prince Edward County, Virginia and allied families. Includes primary source material, such as the 1830 daybook of the J. J. Dupuy Company of Charlotte Court House. Also, contains typescript of Richard Lee Morton's copy of Hugh Blair Grigsby's notes on the Robert Rose Diary and of William Cryer's transcript of the Charles Campbell diaries.

This collection contains 16 diaries kept by members of the Munger family from New Haven, Connecticut and Portland, Oregon. The collection contains information about the social, religious, cultural, and intellectual lives of late 19^th- and early 20^th-century women, the daily rhythms of their domestic lives and family relations. Twelve of the diaries were kept by Rosanna ("Rose" or Rosa") May Munger from 1886-1945, excluding years 1888 to 1899 and 1910 to 1914. Rose's diaries generally include one entry per day. Rose apparently suffered from a spinal disease, never married, and mostly lived with her family in New Haven. Some of the topics discussed in her diaries include taking trips to Europe and across the United States with her family, acting as secretary to her father, the Rev. Theodore Thornton Munger (1830-1910), a Congregational minister and an advocate of the "New Theology," working at an office, volunteering for several social and religious organizations, as well as other aspects of her daily life. Among the acquaintances Rose most frequently mentions are brother Thornton Taft Munger (1883-1975), sister Eleanor Duncan Munger (b. 1868), sister Mary Munger, nicknamed Polly (b. 1877), sister-in-law Mary Erskine Heilman Munger (1883-1967), step-mother Harriet King Osgood (1857-1925), friend Bessie Thompson, and Allie and George Sherman.

This collection details the history of the Offley Family from 1826 to 1916 through correspondences, diaries, photographs and personal effects. Its creators include multiple generations of Offleys and their associates. The papers provide insight into the daily life of the era as well as major geopolitical events such as the Greek War of Independence, the Spanish-American War, the Philippine-American War, the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake, and World War I. Many of the Offleys served in the United States armed forces. The collection also includes photographs of individuals unrelated to, but, of the same era as, the Offley Family.
