The pamphlets make up the majority of the collection, represent several hundred different companies, and date from about the 1890s-the early 2000s.

The Parker & Co. Grocers Collection was possibly written some time in the late 19th century by Parker & Co. grocers , who were established in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1822. The colelction includes information on the prices of wine, mineral water, and cigars.

Shropshire, England, Farm and Household Ledger 0.1 Cubic Feet 1 folder

This collection contains a household and farming ledger owned by a Shropshire, England family, dating 1832-1867. Two articles and a letter report the discovery of coal in Shropshire. The ledger also contains financial records, notes on wine making and farming, instructions for care of cattle and pest control, and various receipes and remedies.

The Major School of Bartending Manual 0.1 Cubic Feet 1 folder

This binder contains a 1965 revised edition of a 1937 manual for students at the Los Angeles Modern Bartending School, later The Major School of Bartending. The manual has directions for tips and hints for bartenders, as well as a wide selection of standard and tropical cocktail recipes.
