Ledger, 1874-1881, of the Pawcatuck Prohibition Club of Stonington, Connecticut. The beginning of their constitution, which is included in the ledger, states "Believing that the Transportation, Manufacture, Sale, and Use of Intoxicating Liquors as a beverage is morally wrong; therefore we, the under signed form ourselves into a Society for the purpose of suppressing these evils..." Includes meeting minutes, expenditures of the club, events sponsored by the club, members of the club, location of the meetings, and other items. Meetings were often opened by a prayer and then a song by the local glee club.

Journal recording meeting minutes of Scott's Creek Social Club of Logan, Ohio from 1939-1954. The following description was provided by the seller: "This journal is a very detailed account of the meetings, members, officers, activities, and events of the Club which met regularly at "the School House" near Scott's Creek. The group was made up of both men and women with the group concerning itself with promoting the good of the Logan Schools and socializing. The entries cover all aspects of the club or organization and are written in a personal manner with most of the entries describing the plays, songs, talks, addresses, games, contests, meals, and musical performances provided by the members and/or guests. As many as 90 people would attend some of these meetings about once a month so they were well attended and quite popular in the community. As an example, the first entry ends with "It was an enjoyable evening for all-especially enjoyed the lovely music around the campfire while roasting wieners and drinking ice tea". There are tons of names in this book which include, Gordon, Harsh, Guthrie, Funk, Hartman, Mowrey, Howe, Mercer, Baker, Hankinson (Harmonica solo), Johnson, Wright, Carr (supt of Logan Schools), Riggs (Piano), Keller, Linton, Rohrer, Stone, Mooney, Fox, Allen, Hausel, Riggs, Swartz, Fitzgerald, Cruise, Dillon, Turner, Heinlein, Schaal, Wagner and more. "
