Special Collections includes manuscript collections, rare books, and the University Archives, as well as state, local and historical maps and photographs. George Tulley Vaughan was an American Surgeon who was born in 1859 and lived until 1948. This collection contains multiple articles that Dr. George Tully Vaughan published. Each publication has something to do with the medical field, and most are about surgery. Also contained in the collection is a copy of The Youth's Companion from 1908. The Youth's Companion is a magazine that was first issued in 1827.

REPOhistory, which stands for reposessing history, was founded in 1989 in Manhattan, New York City. The organization was founded by artist, scholars, activist, teachers, writers, and historians that wanted to show the relationship of history to contemporary society through public art projects. This collection contains information on the Lower Manhattan Sign Project, Circulation Project, Civil Distubances Project, Out from Under the King George Hotel Project, Urban Encounters Project, and Choice Project, which were all REPOhistory projects.
