Concern farm labor and accounts as an administrator, executor (either by himself or in conjunction with others) or guardian of others which include members of the Stickley family. The volumes have unusual covers of patterned paper, and marbled paper. One cover is another book, "A Course of Book-keeping" used by William S. Newett, Pleasant Green Schoolhouse, Shenandoah County, Va. and one bears a label, Regensburg, Germany.

Notes, circa 1779-1844, of James Lewis [Gloucester County, Virginiaa. ?] concerning farming and math (using farming examples). The book contains some dated entries ranging from about 1779 to 1847 and includes loose newspaper clippings.

Account book, 1816-1875, of Jonah H. Lupton, merchant and farmer. Included in the volume are notes on livestock, home remedies, and the birth of children. Also included are Civil War notes, 1861-1862, concerning feeding the troops, the Union occupation of Winchester on 12 March 1862, and Jackson and his men.

Memorandum book, 1845-1897, used by [Kitty Kemper, Shenandoah Valley, Virginiaa. ?] and others. The book contains laborers' accounts and farm memoranda.

Ledger, 1786-1797, of Richard Corbin of Caroline County, Va. including farm accounts and records of enslaved persons.

Diaries, 1858-1872, of Dr. Robert Page Waller of Williamsburg, Va. Although Waller was a medical doctor, these diaries do not relate to the practice of medicine. During the period from October 1862 to July 1865, Waller lived in Lynchburg, Va. The diaries concern farming, his ill-health, family, the Civil War and Reconstruction.

Account book, 1836-1852, of William S. Miller, farmer, of Elkton, Rockingham County, Va.
