Miscellaneous memorabilia regarding Grace Edwards Waters, an African-American teacher in Monongalia County (1929-1967), West Virginia, including her West Virginia University diploma and the commencement program. Also includes material regarding the dedication of West Virginia University Libraries' Africana Collection in 1995, several plaques and certificates highlighting her accomplishments and honors achieved, as well as a few books on African-American history and the Christian faith. Includes framed photographs of her and others including a 16" x 18" framed color portrait of Waters.
