Scrapbook assembled by African-American woman, Maria Kathleen Robinson while she was attending historically-Black college Prairie View A&M University in Texas. Maria graduated high school in 1970 and briefly attended junior college in Temple, Texas. She majored in Business Education (accounting) at Prairie View A&M in the early 1970's, pledged to the Zeta Phi Beta sorority, whose Greek letters decorate the cover of the scrapbook. Maria participated in the Blue Dynamics dance line, and more, much of which is captured in the present album.

This collection features a colored pencil portrait of Lavel Davis Jr., D'Sean Perry, and Devin Chandler, the University of Virginia students and football members killed in a mass shooting on November 13, 2022, at the University of Virginia. After the tragedy, President and Mrs. Ryan opened their home for students to gather. Isabelle Martins, a Univeristy of Virginia architecture student, brought this drawing as a gift to Carr's Hill. The following week, President Ryan asked for the artist to share their full name via social media so that the piece could be archived properly, with credit given appropriately. The portrait appears on Ryan's social media accounts on the same date.

This collection contains one scrapbook belonging to William Bryant of Little Rock, Arkansas. Bryant, son of a physician and an African American, attended the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama between 1936 and 1939, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.
