Collection of 80 photographs which belonged to Miss Sarah C. Tracy (later Mrs. Upton H. Herbert), resident secretary at Mount Vernon during the Civil War years. The pictures most of which are cartes de visite were collected by Miss Tracy; some were obviously presented to her, after the fashion of the day, and are inscribed. Besides the one of herself there are three of Mount Vernon which must date from the years of her residence. Others include Leeds Castle, the English seat of Thomas, Lord Fairfax; the President's House at the Soldiers' Home, Washington, D.C.; the Milwaukee residence of Mrs. Mitchell, Vice-Regent for Wisconsin; General Winfield Scott; General George B. McClellan; W. W. Corcoran of Washington, D.C.; George W. Riggs, Treasurer of the Association; Lord Fairfax; Prince Napoleon; Louis de Geofroy (of the French Legation, who accompanied Price Napoleon to Mount Vernon in August, 1861), inscribed; and Miss Nettie Chase, daughter of Hon. Salmon P. Chase of the Lincoln Cabinet. Also included are pictures of others, chiefly celebrated figures of the nineteenth century; these were probably acquired through gift or purchases, and not presented by the subjects themselves.

This collection contains copies of the University of Virginia School of Law's public website. On that site, the School shares content documenting its work and the experiences of its students, faculty, staff, and alumni. This includes statistics, descriptions of school services, policies, center and program descriptions, links to affiliated organizations, news articles, videos, directories, marketing materials, short histories, and published research. While the website potentially reaches a broad audience, much of it is designed especially for the Law School's students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Other content on the website markets the School to applicants, donors, and employers.

This collection consists of the Virginia Law Weekly's organizational records including founding documents, correspondence, and digital media. It also contains photographic prints, negatives, and contact sheets used in the production of the Virginia Law Weekly.

Records, 1877-1929, of the Gloucester Agricultural and Industrial School in Gloucester County, Virginia, founded by Weaver in 1888. Included are articles on the school, catalogues, circulars and forms, correspondence, deeds, programs, and teacher licenses. Of note is a minute and record book containing minutes from the school's formation, as well as invitations and flyers, including to programs where Frederick Douglass was the speaker. There is also a set of the school's monthly newsletter entitled "The Gloucester Messenger," and "The Gloucester Letter," which was written for a short time by Weaver after he severed his ties with the school.

This collection consists of examinations that the University of Virginia Law School administered to students between 1890 and 2018. It also includes a few examples of examination answers.

This collection contains the personal papers of Herbert Friedman (1924-2006), documenting his survival of the Holocaust from 1938 to 1940 in Vienna, including his two years in England, and his life afterward in the United States Army and as a successful pharmacist in Norfolk, Virginia.

Virginia Folklore Society records (1913-1967; 22.7 cubic feet) consist chiefly of songs collected by the society's fieldworkers in the 1930s under the direction of society archivist Arthur Kyle Davis. Sheet music, folklore, newsletters and photographs are also included, as are recordings of many of the songs.

This collection consists of the history of Hugh Carr, an African American born in enslavement in 1843 and his family who lived on a tract of land (River View Farm) that Carr and his wife Texie Mae Hawkins bought in 1870 after emancipation. He became one of the largest African American landowners in Albemarle County, where he raised several generations of his family in the Union Ridge Hydraulic Mills community, until his death in 1914.

There are 84 items, 1716-1865, chiefly letters of Angelica Schuyler Church(1756-1815) and other family members, including her husband John Barker Church, brother-in-law Alexander Hamilton(1757-1804), father Philip John Schuyler, and brother-in-law Stephen van Rensselaer(1764-1839). Other notable correspondents include: Justus Erich Bollman(1769-1821); Charles James Fox(1749-1806); Thomas Jefferson(1743-1826); Marquis de Lafayette(1757-1834); Abraham Lincoln(1809-1865); Winfield Scott(1786-1866); Baron von Steuben(1730-1794); Charles Maurice de Talleyrand-Perigord(1754-1838); and, George Washington(1732-1799).
