Includes newspaper clippings, printed material, banquet information, a large folded map, photographic material, and audiovisual material.
Photographic material includes approximately 40 photographs (circa 1970s), some with written descriptions on the back, of livestock, men, men and women in lab coats, and farms. Also includes negatives and proofs. Also includes slides of Field Day 1973 September 30 (over 40 in 2 containers) and a second copy of Field Day (17 slides). Audiovisual material includes a 6.35mm reel-to-reel tape, "Six on Sheep," six 5-minute public affairs programs; and a 5-minute silent color film (1973?) about a trip to Iowa involvng work with cattle and sheep.

The collection also includes individual data pertaining to specific farms and farmers, which should only be reported in aggregate or as deidentified information. Due to both of these factors, this collection is restricted for 75 years after the date of record creation. Users may complete the Agreement for the Use of Restricted Materials to request access to any part of this collection prior to the expiration of the restriction.
The collection is stored off-site. Researchers should contact the West Virginia Regional History Center prior to visiting to ensure materials are available.
