Scope and content:

Kemp visited Australia for the First International Engineering Heritage Conference in 1996. The box includes his correspondence and facsimile reports on lumber, steel, and a technical paper on historic bridges of Australia. It includes a few postcards and some pamphlets on fossils in Australia, the Glen Osmond mines, and the State Mine Railway heritage parks. Highlights include the book, They Built South Australia by D.A. Cumming. The following items were moved to Box 342: one industrial map of Armidale in 1915 (1990).
