Scope and content:

Contains formal black and white photos of African American infants and children. These photos range in size from snapshots to 5x7 and 8x10 inch prints. Most of the baby pictures are of the infant alone, although a few also feature the parents. This sub-series includes formal portraits of siblings and of parents with their children. In addition, it features some informal portraits of children playing or participating in special events, such as birthday parties. A few of the pictures appear to be of a kindergarten class graduation ceremony.
