All are well at home; he bathes frequently; William Rutson wants to see thre response of Louis XVIII to Napoleon; perhaps she will show him when she comes back; visit with the Baron, who got along well with Mrs. Maury; the Baron sent them a pie with many different kinds of meat; the Baron is ill currently; "the S" and consul Gibson, from St. Petersburg, are also visiting; hopes to have a dinner party with them and the Baron; letter from William, who is doing well; Christmas activities, sends regards. 2pp. ALS Bears ALS from Matthew Maury, Liverpool, England, to his sister, (Ann Maury), Kendal, England, [n.d] William has sent her some embroidered clothe, but he does not know what it is for; the charity Ball; news of friends; the Baron and the "Pye" he sent; more news of rfiends; sends regards. 1p.
