William and Mary Button (UA 1985.079.7)

Scope and content:

One aluminum button the reads "W M' in gold lettering. The button was once owned by Martha Virginia Sleet, class of 1928. The top third of the button is gold, the middle third is green, and the bottom third is silver. The button is attached to a green, gold, and silver ribbon. The button is 1.25in. in diameter and the ribbon is approximately 2in. long. The button is in fair condition with rust on the back of it and the ribbon starting to fade and wrinkle. Gift of Jack Tharp.
