William and Mary Monogram Patch of Mary Mackey Sainsbury

One wool patch with linen backing with the College of William and Mary monogram. This patch was worn by Mary Mackey Sainsbury, class of 1940, while she was a student at the College. The patch is shaped like the College Seal with gold silk thread along its edges. There is a green "M" with a gold "W" in front of it against a gray background. The patch is approximately 2.625in. x 3.125in. and is in good condition. Gift of Mary Sainsbury. Located in Textiles S1 SS8. UA 2008.005.1
