1-circular blue patch that features a depiction of a silver falcon with a golden head and talons holding on to a silver bolt of lightning in the center. At the top of the patch "AIR FORCE" is embroidered in gold in an arch. At the bottom of the patch "ACADEMY" is embroidered in gold in an arch. There are two golden stars embroidered on the left and right side of the patch separating "AIR FORCE" and "ACADEMY." The outside of the patch as a silver embroidered circle. The Patch is a vintage souvenir from the Air Force Academy Gift Shop and belonged to Armand J. Galfo, U.S. Air Force Reserves officer and Assistant Dean of the School of Education at the College of William and Mary between 1965 and 1966. The patch measures approximately 3in. in diameter and is in excellent condition. Transferred from the Armand J. Galfo Papers. Located in UA Textiles. UA 2007.063.06
