Scope and Contents

One bronze medal, 2in. in diameter, issued by the University of Virginia in 1921 to honor Thomas Jefferson. The obverse has a profile of Jefferson and the inscription "Haec Olim Meminisse Ivvabit" ("One day he will help us to remember these things"). The reverse has the University of Virginia seal.
