William and Mary Griffin Button (UA 2010.242)

Scope and content:

One white aluminum button with a depiction of the Griffin, the College of William and Mary's mascot as of 2010. The Griffin has the head of an eagle and the body of a lion. This particular Griffin is green, gold, and white in color to mimic the College's colors. Below the Griffin is the word "Tribe," the nickname for William and Mary. The button is approximately 3in. in diameter and is in good condition.
