Scope and content:

One round bronze medal, 2.5in. in diameter, struck by the American Friends of Lafayette on the centenary of his death, May 20, 1934. One side shows Lafayette standing next to a pedestel with the words "America's Adopted Son." The other side depicts a wreath, a dagger, and a feather with the incription "American Friends of Lafayette, Centenary of His Death May XXMCMXXXIV." Gift of Stuart W. Jackson.
