William and Mary Fourth Century Club Bronze Coin

Scope and Contents

One bronze medal coin that was created by the William and Mary Fund for the Tercentenary celebration of William and Mary. The obverse of the coin has the College seal with the words "The College of William and Mary in Virginia" surrounding the edge. Above the seal are the dates "1693-1993". The reverse contains the weathervane from the Wren Building with "1693" and "1993" on it. Just below the weathervane is the number "300" and "William Mary". Surrounding the edge of the reverse are the words "The Fourth Century Club 1693-1993". The coin is encased in plastic to protect it and is surrounding by a black square case with "William Mary Annual Fund" written in gold. It is 1.05 in. in diameter and is in good condition. The square case surrounding the coin is 3.5in. x 3.5in. Located in Dec Obj S2, SS1.UA 2010.185
