One coin made of nickel issued by the Williamsburg-James City County Independence Bicentennial Committee to celebrate America's Independence in 1976. The front of the coin depicts Edmund Pendleton with "Virginia Resolution for Independence" around the edge." The back of the coin reads "Williamsburg-James City County Independence Bicentennial 1776-1976" with pictures of the Wren Building and the Colonial Williamsburg Capitol building.
