Scope and Contents

A black felt scrapbook that features a "W," "M," and "C" (for William and Mary College) stitched in gold felt letters on the front. There is a felt tie on the left of the front that keeps the scrapbook together. Inside the scrapbook are dark beige construction paper pages. The first page has "William Bernard Walsh/Class of 1909/ College of William Mary" written in cursive. The rest of the pages are blank. The first and last pages are sown into the felt cover pieces in the front and back. The scrapbook measures approximately 15in. (length) x 11.25in. (width) and is in good condition. The top of the tie on the front left has a small rip in it. There is a small hole in the top left of the "M," the top left of the "C," and the bottom right of the "W" where it meets the bottom of the "C." There are also small holes all over the front of the cover piece. The page sown onto the felt front piece, which features the inscription, is completely separated from the bottom of the felt front piece and is severely ripped and tattered on the bottom and right edges. The page sown onto the felt back piece is completely separated from the top right of the back felt piece and the top and bottom right edges are torn. Transferred from Alumni Association.
