2013 WM Kente Cloth

Scope and Contents

Black stole in the kente cloth design. Each side of the stole contains white, gold, and green stripes with WM stitched in gold, and 2013 stitched in white. There are also black tassels at the bottom on each side of the stole. The stole was used as part of the "Donning of the Kente" that was the program for the 2013 ceremony on May 10, 2013 as part of Commencement. Stoles individually crafted in Ghana by Midwest Global Group, Inc. The stole is in excellent condition with a 0.125in. loose thread on the bottom section of white, green, and gold on the wearer's left. The stole also has a 0.125in. and a 0.5in. unraveling thread in the same section on the wearer's left. Gift of Jody Allen. UA 2013.086.01
