White Swem Library Construction Hard Hat

One white plastic hard hat that was used by Connie McCarthy, Dean of University Libraries, during the renovation of Swem Library at the College of William Mary from 1998-2005. The front of the hat has a sticker with the William Mary coat of arms and "The College of William Mary" in green and gold; as well as a black and white sticker with "C. McCARTHY". On one side of the hat is a depiction of a man pushing a wheel, "Swem Library" in green above the picture, and "A Library for a New Century" is written in green below the picture. It is in fair conditon and is approximately 9in. x 11 5/8in. Located in Textiles S1 SS4. UA 2010.373
