College Seal Brooch

1-Lady's 9k yellow gold enamel and gold inlay brooch. The Brooch has a gold inlayed temple with a sun over it. The sky is done in blue enamel and the grass is done in green enamel. The brooch is shaped like a shield with a series of gold loops around it. On the back is a pendant loop with a pin, joint and catch. The brooch is contained within a black felt drawstring bag measuring approximately 3.25in. (length). The brooch measures approximately 1.75in. and is in excellent condition. There are a few scratches on the blue enamel under the sun but above the temple. There is also a small, clear strip of residue on the green enamel right below the front of the temple. On the back, below the pin, joint and catch is a curved scratch. Bequest of Anne Dobie Peebles, transferred from the Office of the President by Michael J. Fox. UA 2014.106.01
