Scope and Contents

One black tie with Indian heads on both the back and front of the tie. Ties like this one were part of a surplus that were moved from Blow to WM Hall around 1970. This particular one belonged to Michael Rawlings, class of 1982, who received the tie as part of the William and Mary cheerleading team around 1978. There is a tag attached to the tie indicating that is was made expressly for the College of William and Mary Athletic Department. The tie is in fair condition with some staining toward the end of the tie. One of the labels on the back of the tie has been ripped off. Located in Textiles S1 SS8. UA 2010.239
