William and Mary Souvenir Plate

Scope and content:

One ceramic souvenir plate featuring the Wren Building of the College of William and Mary in the center of the plate. Also featured are some of the other buildings associated with historic Williamsburg, Virginia including Bruton Parish Church, the Capitol Building, and the Powder Horn. The back of the plate is marked Jonroth England, Old English Staffordshire Ware. The plate was made by Adams Potteries of Staffordshire, England and imported by P.H. Hudson and Bro., Williamsburg, Virginia. The plate is approximately 10in. in diameter and in good condition. UA 2009.493
