William and Mary President's Council Box of J. Edward Zollinger, Class of 1927

One pewter box that was once owned by J. Eward Zollinger, Class of 1927 and a member of William and Mary's Board of Visitors from 1966-1976. The lid of the box is engraved with a depiction of the Wren Building and "William Mary, The President's Council." The bottom of the box is engraved "Shirley, Williamsburg Virginia, Homemade." The box was made by Shirley of Williamsburg run by Shirley Robertson, Master Pewterer of Williamsburg. The box is in good condition with some scratches and scuff marks.
