Robinson has been placed in charge of the movement of stores from Portsmouth before it is abandoned to the Northern Forces; His battle in the Confederate Legislature to have his father's property come to him as a loyal southerner; his experiences at battle at Roanoke Island with a map of the island and the area around it.
