Pities Mary Tyler. Describes Norborne's family, his own, and those of other friends. Plans to go to Mississippi and thinks John Williamson should do the same. Wants Alexander to send John Browne some advice on "Domestic Oconomy," in return for advice on the management of hogs, poultry, and cows. Tells of the incident involving John Murdaugh and Judge Wilkinson.
