There are two churches I would like you to help with this money: a new church nearby or Old Pisgah, rather than applying it as first contemplated. Sallie Lee "so young, gay, and all attractive," is very ill with typhoid. July 16, 1874 Francis B. Coalter Brown to John Thompson Brown, Your mammy sends her love.
