Toy Gun Barrel

1800-1850 Iron toy gun barrel. The ornate gun barrel is an archealogical fragment from a larger toy and is decorated with a leaf design. The piece was found on a farm outside Williamsburg. The barrel measure 3 1/2'' (length) x 1 1/2'' (width) at its widest point. Poor condition with extreme wear, and the iron is bent where it should connect to another part. Gift of Mr. Slauson.
