Women's Lacrosse Championship First Place Plaque

Scope and Contents 1-plaque with a golden front piece mounted on a wooden back piece. The golden front piece has a black decorative outline and "VIRGINIA WOMEN'S LACROSSE ASSOCIATION/LACROSSE CHAMPIONSHIP/COLLEGE of WILLIAM and MARY/ DIVISION 1/FIRST PLACE/ 1980" engraved in the middle. "VIRGINIA WOMEN'S LACROSSE ASSOCIATION/LACROSSE CHAMPIONSHIP," "DIVISION 1," "FIRST PLACE," and "1980" are all engraved in outline font while "COLLEGE of WILLIAM and MARY" is engraved in Old English outline font. The back of the plaque has a hook hole by which the plaque can be hung. The plaque measures approximately 8in. (length) x 7in. (width) and is in good condition with numerous scratches on the gold front piece and the wooden back piece. In addition, there are some abrasions on the front of the wooden back piece on the top right and top left corner. Transferred by the Tribe Athletics Department. EDU2014.006
