8-Coin set from the Irish Free State. The collection consists of one farthing (bronze), halfpenny (bronze), penny (bronze), threepence (nickel), sixpence (nickel), shilling (75% silver/25% bronze), florin (75% silver/25% bronze), and a halfcrown (75% silver/25% bronze) in a green card box that reads "Saorstát Éireann Irish Free State." All the coins are dated 1928. Coin measurements range from 19mm (diameter) (threepence) to 38mm (diamater) (halfcrown). Coins are in good condition, with the halfcrown, shilling and florin exhibiting the most grime. Gift of Charles H. Taylor. EDU2012.047
