Small American Flag with String

Scope and content:

One small American Flag that was attached to string. The flag is made of linen and contains 48 stars which was in use from 1912-1959. It is 3inx2in. The flag is in poor condition with creases from being folded, fading, and a stain in the bottom right corner. Image available at http://www.flickr.com/photos/scrc/4390144461.
