Velvet Jewelry Box

Scope and content:

One velvet jewelry box, given either to Eliza Mays Jerdone or Leicha A. Jerdone by their father, John Jerdone in childhood. Exterior of the box is covered with velvet and fastened with silver-colored metal clasps. Interior is lined with fabric, possibly silk. 4.75x7.5x2.5 inches. Fair condition; velvet on exterior is worn, especially on corners, interior lining is worn and frayed. Velvet is a raspberry color, and interior lining is a bright orangy pink.
