Wedding Stockings

2-white wedding stockings attributed to Jane Barron Hope who wore them when she married Wilton Hope on June 13, 1816. The stockings are made of both silk and cotton. the bottom half including the foot is silk while the top half is cotton. Stockings also have hand-stitched clocks on the ankle. They are 21in (length). The stockings are in fair condition with discoloration and small black stains and tears. Image available at http://www.flickr.com/photos/scrc/4390144399/.
