Subseries 3.2, Writing, contains primarily materials written by Stein, often inscribed to Van Vechten and/or Lutz. Of particular note is Box 6, File 16, which contains a copy of the privately printed Portrait of Mabel Dodge at the Villa Curonia, which was bound with wallpaper and published in Italy, inscribed to Lutz.
