Series 2: University of Richmond & The Collegian, focuses on Howard's time at the University of Richmond, from his acceptance to graduation. Included are correspondence with faculty and staff and some assignments he completed. The largest portion relates to his work with The Collegian, UR's student newspaper. Howard wrote for the paper and served as editor-in-chief during his junior year. The series also contains information on the scholarship established at UR in his memory.
