Watkins's newspaper article, "Where Poe was Born," the Boston Transcript, 13 January 1909, in which he discusses the plays in which David and Elizabeth Poe appeared from 1806 through 1809 and the songs they sang in them. He also attempts to fix the number of the house in which Poe was born.
