Description: Back of silver triptych icon with an engraved inscription within a laurel crown. Translated from the Russian, it reads: "Blessing of the Preobrazhenskii Regiment. June 3rd, 1884. A new commandment I give unto you the ye love one another as I loved you. (St. John, Chapter 13, Verse 34)".
