Antique French miniature musical watch and vanity box in the form of a butterfly. Exquisite variegated colored enamels have been imposed on the gold body. This box was a gift from Louis XVI to the Chinese Emperor Chien Lung. From the collection of the late Mrs. Mabel L. Gump.
