Transcription: [double-headed eagle] EASTER EGG CHARM Easter Egg pendant of gold, decorated with transparent sapphire blue enamel over a field of delicate guilloche [sic] work. It is set with a large diamond on one side and a small one at the bottom. The loop is hallmarked with the number "56" denoting the Russian equivalent of 14 kt. gold and, indistinctly, with the initials of the master. Designed by Carl Faberge, illustrious Russian court jeweler, the little charm is characteristic of those which he made expressly for the young Grand Duchesses, daughters of Tsar Nikolai II.
